A how-to seminar on marketing leadership and solid planning practices that create competitive advantage for sales.

This one-day seminar has been created specifically for business owners, professional services firm principals and corporate marketing directors who have sales and marketing planning responsibilities. It’s also great for managers who oversee the aforementioned. It is crafted to enhance the strategic planning portion of your selling communications and marketing planning. Once applied, these specific ideas and processes will become the foundation of your competitive advantage in the marketplace! There will also be breaks for networking opportunities, lunch roundtable conversations and time for exploration of Vulcan Park.

Our seminar, “The Five Fatal Flaws of Marketing and Sales,” actively engages the five most common flaws in marketing and sales. In our 25 years of working with hundreds of small and mid-market companies, from sole proprietors to national manufacturing firms, we’ve noticed the patterns are the same. But the genius is found in the solutions! We will identify the role of marketing strategy and planning at your company, then give you the tools to gain control of the marketing and selling process, and improve profit margins.

    What you’ll learn:

  • How to position your company to gain competitive advantage
  • How to effectively study your competition
  • How to audit your marketing tools, sales processes, and offerings
  • How to reveal new revenue streams and improve client retention
  • How to craft stronger selling messages, better products and services

"Our firm had never utilized a structured sales process. We hired FitzMartin to teach us how. The whole process has been incredible, including their sales and marketing seminar that trained our staff how to organize and execute the program."

Birmingham is a driving city. Unfortunately, none of our hotels are within walking distance of the venue. Though there are no reserved room blocks or discounts beyond what is offered to business or vacation travelers, there are several hotels within a short drive and in all price ranges.

Here are the closest hotels. We would put our best friends in any of these. Each of them have great food options nearby! Please make arrangements directly with the hotel.

The Tutwiler downtown for old and neat.
